The Ararichon folk village

#koreatrip A small folk village that recreates the old residential culture of the Jeongseon region. In addition to the thatched or tile-roofed houses that we are familiar with, there are also unfamiliar houses that we have encountered for the first time, such as Jeoreupjip, Neowajip, Gulpijip, Stonejib, and Gwiteulfip. They are said to be traditional folk houses unique to the Jeongseon region, and the 'stone houses', which are roofed with thin, wide flat stones, are particularly fascinating. You can also see a farming tool workshop, Seonangdang, a watermill, a mill, and a mill, so there is more to see than you might think. Each house has a detailed explanation so it is easy to understand. It takes about 30 minutes to look around slowly. Admission is free, and the parking lot is spacious. If you go out to the back, you can also see the Arirang Museum.
