Although Jeongseon Mindungsan is located about 3 hours by car from Seoul and about 2 hours and 50 minutes by Jeongseon Arirang Train, during the Eulalia Festival, people from all over the country come to see it, even chartering tour buses. Today, countless tour buses and cars were lined up in the parking lot, and many people also come from early morning to take a commemorative photo at the summit of Mindungsan by train. After getting off at Mindungsan Station, we had lunch and started hiking at 1 p.m., and people who had taken tour buses since early morning took commemorative photos at the summit and continued to descend. The road is narrow, and it is exhausting to wait for the crowds to pass. To do this, you have to pass through the narrow space, and come down before the sun sets. We arrived at the summit around 2:30 p.m. and waited for a commemorative photo, which only lasted about 15 minutes. Rather, if you climb to the summit before noon, the waiting time for the certification shot is really extreme. Rather, if you take the 8:30 Jeongseon Arirang train from Cheongnyangni and arrive at Mindungsan Station at 11:16 and have a hearty lunch at a restaurant in front of the station before hiking, there will be some difficulties with passing traffic, but the waiting time for the certification shot at the summit will be significantly reduced. If you think of Mindungsan as a mountain behind your neighborhood, you will get a big nose. You must wear hiking boots and bring poles to safely descend. Today, there were people who fell on Mindungsan because it rained in the morning. It was steep from the beginning and it was hard to breathe. It is a mountain where you must be prepared and be careful of safety accidents. Of course, once you reach the summit, it is gentle and there are many places to take pictures. You should think of it as a difficult mountain until you reach the summit.
