Omokdae in autumn, Jeonju

At the back entrance of Jeonju Hanok Village there lies a pavillion on top of a steep hill, called Omokdae. The story behind this pavillion is that Yi Seong Gye, later King Taejo who founded the Joseon dynasty, stopped by this pavillion after the victory against Japanese invaders in one of the war. The word carvings are writings from King Gojong. From the top of the pavilion one can have a wide view of Jeonju Hanok village. The foliage is also very nice around the pavillion, whereby autumn leaves turned red and yellow beautifying the area. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers
