Just about an hour by high-speed rail from Hangzhou, and equally convenient by car with stunning scenery along the way. 🏞️ Surrounding Scenery: The beauty of Xin'anjiang is beyond words—Li Bai once praised it as "walking in a mirror, birds flying through a painted screen." During certain seasons, the river near the homestay showcases the mesmerizing "White Sand Mirage Mist," like a fairyland on earth. Strolling along the riverbank, breathing in the fresh air, and soaking in nature's beauty is pure bliss. 🏡 Homestay Ambience: The overall style embodies the minimalist Song Dynasty aesthetics I adore. Stepping inside, you're immediately drawn to its serene and elegant atmosphere. Black-tiled rammed earth walls, gently sloping roofs—no excess decor, yet exuding sophistication everywhere. The courtyard features expansive lawns, maple trees, and cherry blossoms, offering different scenic views each season. There's also an outdoor pool with a breathtaking view, perfect for romantic sunset moments. 🛏️ Room Facilities: There are 21 rooms in total, divided into three buildings: "Nalanda Fearless," "Priya True Love," and "Anika Wonderful." We stayed in a courtyard room with a private little garden right outside the door—great privacy. The room itself is spacious and clean, decorated in a simple yet stylish manner. The bedding is incredibly comfortable, like being wrapped in clouds. Smart curtains, a projector, Marshall speakers, a tea aroma diffuser… every detail is thoughtfully curated, truly catering to us young folks. The bathroom is stocked with Atelier Cologne toiletries, with the Orange Sanguine scent being especially delightful. They even prepared herbal baths, bath salts, and disposable bath bags for a luxurious soak. 🍱 Dining Experience: Breakfast is lavish and varied, featuring local specialties and handmade soy milk—warming both the stomach and the heart. For dinner, the homestay’s restaurant offers Jiande specialties, sukiyaki, BBQ, and seasonal summer dishes. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are outstanding. Dining while admiring the scenic views outside the window is pure delight. 💁‍♀️ Thoughtful Service: The butler service deserves special praise. From the moment we booked, a butler reached out with detailed local guides. Upon arrival, we were greeted with handwritten welcome cards and personalized photo frames—such a thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, the butler sent timely reminders and responded quickly to requests. Turndown service, goodnight sweet soups, outdoor movies… every detail reflects their dedication, making the experience emotionally fulfilling. 🎈 Nearby Activities: Plenty of fun spots around, like Lingqi Cave, a perfect summer retreat; Zhujiabu Country Park, a vast park with a long stream and few crowds; and the Water Fir Forest Water Park, where you can dig in the sand and play in the water. For cycling enthusiasts, you can rent bikes from the homestay and ride along the river, feeling the gentle breeze.
