We stayed at an incredibly unique Heyuan Hotel in Jianshui and were absolutely blown away! The hotel's architecture is entirely made of Jianchuan wood carvings, every detail showcasing exquisite craftsmanship. It felt like living in a living wooden carving museum. 🏯 20 artisans spent 7 years carving, with impeccable attention to detail! Every wooden beam and every carved flower is incredibly intricate. From the main gate to the courtyard, there's a strong sense of traditional beauty, making you feel like you've traveled back in time. Every corner is like a painting. 🎏 Rainy days don't diminish the beauty; enjoy tea and watch the koi. The courtyard's koi pond, small bridge, and flowing water create a tranquil scene. Even in the rain, sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea, and quietly watching the koi swim slows down time. The rainy day scenery is particularly pleasant, with the raindrops creating ripples in the pond, evoking a sense of relaxation. 🛏 Only 36 rooms, quiet and sophisticated. The rooms blend classical and modern elements, with wooden furniture and carved window lattices adding a special touch. The bedding is comfortable, and lying in bed enjoying the natural light from the window slows down the pace of life. 📍 Excellent location, within walking distance of Zitao Street. The hotel's surroundings are very peaceful, and Zitao Street is just a few minutes' walk away. You can also stroll through the ancient city in the evening. Spending a few days here feels like entering another world with a slower pace of life, where you can enjoy tranquility and beauty.
