First visit to Qingdao

I took advantage of the tail end of summer vacation and went to Qingdao, one of the happiest cities in China, with my husband and children. This was a belated honeymoon as well as a study tour for the children. The German-style architecture in Qingdao is really photogenic, and every shot gives a fairy-tale feeling. We went to Naxianghai to enjoy the sea carnival, climbed Liugong Island to learn about the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895, found the end of the world at Chengshantou, mailed postcards from the easternmost part of the country at Chengshantou Post Office, went to Rushan to experience the night fishing, went to May Fourth Square to see the May wind and the pier, walked into the St. Michael's Cathedral that I had always longed for, saw the chocolate castle 🏯 and various landscapes in the Chocolate 🍫 Museum... drank beer 🍺 and ate clams, and wandered around Qingdao, Weihai, and Rushan for 5 days in Crocs. I gained a lot and my sense of happiness was doubled!
