Jinan Ring City Park

Jinan's Ring City Park, like a dazzling gem embedded in the city of springs, Jinan, cleverly connects the Baotu Spring Cluster, Pearl Spring Cluster, Black Tiger Spring Cluster, Wulongtan Spring Cluster, and Daming Lake. It forms a core of garden green space with lake water and spring eyes as its soul, making the scenery of the city of springs, with 'lotus flowers surrounding on three sides, willows swaying gently; mountain colors half-hidden in the city, lake light reflecting half the wall,' even more charming. Our exploration journey begins in the east, where the Black Tiger Spring leads the spring stone garden. The Black Tiger Spring, with its majestic water flow, gushes out like jumping pearls, sounding like a roaring tiger. More than twenty springs, including Jiunv Spring, Baishi Spring, Agate Spring, and Pipa Spring, surround it like stars around the moon, forming a stunning picture. Historically, Qing dynasty literati Wang Peixun highly praised this extraordinary scenery in his 'Record of Recalling the Old Garden' with the words 'Under the green railing, the autumn colors fill the garden, a rare beauty in ancient and modern times. If this is used to describe this spring, it is well-deserved,' showing its extraordinary charm. Today, this land adds a touch of tranquility and beauty under modern charm. Walking along the moat, with a gentle breeze blowing, even in the scorching summer, one can feel a trace of coolness, making people feel relaxed and comfortable. Turning our eyes to the 'Double Tiger' sculptures that complement the Black Tiger Spring and Golden Tiger Spring, they are lifelike, as if they are galloping down from the mountains, playing in the clear spring, just as the ancient poem says: 'The stone coils by the water with a deep color, in the depths it seems to hide the black tiger's body. At midnight, the cold wind cracks the stone, a roar echoes, and the moon hides behind the clouds.' This verse from Ming dynasty Yan Bi's 'Black Tiger Spring' aptly depicts the grandeur and magnificence of this scene.
