The originally rushing waterfall seemed to be cast under a spell of immobilization, the water flow stagnated and turned into layers of icicles in various shapes. Some are as thick as giant pythons, circling majestically; some are as thin as jade hairpins, exquisite and unique. The icicles hang down in varying lengths, like a row of sharp crystal daggers, sharp and yet incredibly beautiful. When you get close to the icefall, you can feel the refreshing coolness. When you reach out to touch it, you can feel the rough ice surface with a chilly texture. When you stroke it with your fingertips, you can almost hear its sleeping whispers. The snow by the pond is so thick that it reaches above the ankles. When you step on it, it makes a "crunching" sound, which is the exclusive melody played in winter. My companions were so excited that their faces turned red. They were busy posing for photos, trying to capture the beautiful moment with the icefall. Going deeper, the mountain streams are frozen and become natural ice rinks. The brave tourists slide in groups, occasionally falling down and getting covered in snow, which in turn causes laughter and snow to fall off tree branches. The stones by the stream are covered with ice, and their roundness reveals a coldness. They are spread out in an orderly manner, like "skirmishers" falling from an icefall.
