The crystal-clear spring of Jinan, Baotu Spring.

During my trip to Jinan, the place I was most looking forward to visiting was Baotu Spring. The name itself is charming, and even from photos, the water looked incredibly clear. Seeing it in person exceeded my expectations. It's a genuine spring where water gushes up from underground. The water is so transparent that you can clearly see coins and pebbles at the bottom. Since the water doesn't flow but quietly bubbles up, the surroundings are quite serene and peaceful. Although there is an entrance fee, it is absolutely worth it. Visiting Jinan just to see this spring would be completely justified. The area is beautifully complemented by pavilions and trees, making it a great spot to sit and relax. It’s not overly decorated, which adds to its charm and makes it feel comforting. Having such a clear and tranquil space in the middle of the city is truly impressive. It seems like a perfect place to visit in summer.
