For the last night of our New Year's trip to Yunnan, we chose to stay at the Pullman Resort Hotel located in the western suburbs of Xishuangbanna. 🔝Location: Yunnan is an impeccable travel destination. Since visiting Lijiang and Shangri-La in 2022, I have returned every year. It has been a week since we arrived in Yunnan, and this is the third day of our trip to Xishuangbanna. We have visited most of the major Dai attractions, so we decided to stay at the Pullman Hotel before returning home. As my introduction to 5-star hotels, I have stayed at many Pullman hotels under Accor, but this is my first time staying at a Pullman resort hotel. Like most resort hotels, it is located in a remote area, next to the Sunac Mall in the western suburbs of Xishuangbanna, and should be a supporting hotel. 🚦Transportation: The hotel is close to the airport, so you can see planes taking off and landing up close, making it ideal for guests traveling by plane. It is about a 30-minute drive from the center of Xishuangbanna, such as Gaozhuang, so we recommend visiting the attractions before staying here to rest before flying. The attractions in Xishuangbanna are scattered, so we recommend driving. Parking at the hotel is very convenient, and there are not many businesses nearby, so we recommend driving to eat or shop. 🏨Facilities and Services: The hotel is located in the western suburbs near the airport, surrounded by small hills and lush greenery, giving it a forest-like feel. The Southeast Asian-style lobby is very grand, adding to the vacation atmosphere. The lobby is bright, and the lobby bar, check-in area, and lounge area are well-distributed, ranking among the top hotels in Sunac. We stayed with a 30% discount with the Accor Plus card. The hotel is very friendly to Accor members, offering complimentary breakfast for two and drinks at the lobby bar, and even half-price breakfast. There is also a well-stocked minibar, with not only common carbonated drinks but also Yunnan's specialty tamarind juice, which left a great impression. It is worth mentioning that Pullman's bedding is excellent, and the pillows are the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel. The brand is Pacific Coast, and they are not cheap. ⭕Great Experience: The hotel has two "cute" peacocks 🦚 in the center of the lobby to welcome guests, which is very effective, as guests love to take photos with them. The breakfast the next day was of high quality, with a wide variety of options, ranking among the top hotels in the same category, offering many Yunnan specialty foods that are popular with tourists, and members can enjoy half-price breakfast. In addition, during the New Year's holiday, the hotel hosts a bonfire party on the lawn, where dancers enthusiastically invite guests to dance with them. The sunrise in Xishuangbanna is late, so guests in high-floor rooms can enjoy a forest sunrise from the balcony.
