Daji Township in Jingning is known as the 'Daji in the Clouds.' If it is a paradise in the mountains, then Shisi Temple is the soul of Daji. This temple, which combines Buddhist and Taoist elements, dates back to the Song and Yuan dynasties. Several thousand-year-old junipers and towering Chinese cedars stand alongside the ancient temple. Crossing a gate and passing through a corridor, the courtyard is deep and serene, the mountains are high and the view is far-reaching.
