Quanzhou Qixu Reef｜The Ultimate Seaside Staycation

Qixu Reef🌊 My recent favorite staycation hotel! Perfect for a weekend escape for hardworking people! I’ve always been fond of Xiamen’s Qishang Hotel, and this time I got hooked on its new gem—Qixu Reef🏖️ I even flew to Quanzhou just for it! No wonder it’s designed by my favorite designer, Xie Ke. From the moment I walked in, I was amazed. Truly the ultimate seaside vacation spot✨ 📍Address: No. XX, XX Road, XX District, Quanzhou City 🚗Transportation: A dedicated car service arranged by the butler picks you up right after you land (super thoughtful!) The drive takes about an hour. Upon arrival, there’s a very ceremonial welcome gift~ Staff present fresh flower wristbands💐 and Minnan-style tea snacks. First impression: perfect💯 Through the lobby’s floor-to-ceiling windows, you can take in the stunning sea and sky view. The architecture built around the reef is absolutely amazing! 🍴Food: The hotel’s only Western restaurant is surprisingly delicious! I thought hotel dining might be a letdown, but the dishes we ordered were impressive🥰 Highly recommend their seafood pasta🍝 and roasted ribs🥩 🛏️Rooms: Every room has an unbeatable sea view! We stayed in the Reef King Room. As soon as you open the door, you can hear the sound of the waves🌊 The toiletries are from Wenxian’s full set (super luxurious~) The turndown service thoughtfully included a sleep aid spray. I loved it so much I immediately ordered the same one when I got back to Shanghai! 🎡Activities: Lots of hidden experiences to book! 🐚Seaside Afternoon Tea: The tea master shares interesting Quanzhou folk stories. Sipping tea while listening to the waves is so chill ☕Reef Café: A popular photo spot (a bit crowded) but the coffee is good 🌊Beach Walk: Just past the café is a stunning coastline. The sunset in the evening is incredibly romantic! 🎆Weekend Fireworks Show! (Too bad we weren’t there on the weekend) Tips: 1️⃣ Be sure to book the airport pick-up service in advance 2️⃣ Bring plenty of beautiful dresses👗 Every corner is super photogenic 3️⃣ Stay at least two nights to truly relax A hidden gem vacation spot perfect for a weekend getaway for hardworking people!
