🌈Attraction features: The Yanshui Pavilion in Gantang Lake is not big, but it has many stories. It is said to be the former site of the platform where Zhou Yu, a famous general during the Three Kingdoms period, commanded his generals. Bai Juyi first built the pavilion in the lake and named it "Jinyue Pavilion" after the line from his poem "Pipa Xing" "When we parted, the vast river was immersed in the moonlight". When Zhou Dunyi, a Neo-Confucian philosopher in the Song Dynasty, was lecturing in Jiujiang, he built another pavilion on the lake embankment and named it "Yanshui Pavilion" after the poem "The water above the mountain is thinly shrouded in smoke". The Nine-Curve Bridge leads to the pavilion and the small garden, which has typical Jiangnan garden features.
