In the last photo, I uploaded a paper I received from the hotel that lists the opening hours of each monastery and the number of stairs (important. The stairs are quite steep) for your reference. You can get from Athens to Kalambaka by train or bus. However, the Meteora Monasteries are not within walking distance from the city of Kalambaka, so you will need to charter a bus or taxi. We went by rental car from Athens. The hotel is Dellas Boutique Hotel. I recommend it because the parking lot is large and the owner's family is very kind.
