Departure: Fujisawa - a platform full of old emotions When I transferred to Enoden at JR Fujisawa Station, a small wooden platform unfolded before my eyes, just like a scene from a movie. The train was small and simple, with two or three cars. That's how much it fits into people's hearts. ⸻ Waves and houses outside the window - Running toward Kamakura The train started moving slowly. Small Japanese houses lined up next to the narrow railroad, and after a while, the cool Shonan Sea spread out before me. Laundry swaying in the sea breeze, children riding bicycles... I couldn't help but smile at the scenery outside the window. Especially Kamakura Gokomae Station (鎌倉高校前駅)! A must-see holy place for Slam Dunk fans. The scene where the sea, railroad, and traffic lights intersect will make your mouth drop open when you see it in person. ⸻ Enoshima – A Walk on the Sea I took the Enoden again and got off at Enoshima Station. The Enoshima Ohashi Bridge that connects to a small island across the sea, and the escalators and shrines that lead to the top of the island. The path overlooking the sea felt like a traveler's privilege.
