#Kaohsiung Attractions Hongmaogang Cultural Park is located at No. 2808, Nanxing Road, Xiaogang District, Kaohsiung City, covering an area of ​​3.42 hectares. It was formerly known as Gaozita Cultural and Art Park. This park is a joint effort between the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government and the Hongmaogang Cultural Association. The following six major areas are planned in the park: 🔆High-Character Tower Revolving Restaurant: Walking into the 360-degree revolving restaurant converted from the "High-Character Tower", the sunset and the bustling cargo ships reflect each other on the waves. 🔆Sea-viewing Platform: This is the only unique spot in Taiwan where you can watch the magnificent "big ships entering the harbor" from the closest distance. You can enjoy the large ships entering and leaving the port, as well as the loading and unloading of containers. It is also the best place in the park for tourists to enjoy the sunset. 🔆Exhibition Hall: There are a variety of audio-visual interactive installations in the hall, with the theme of daily life in the Hongmaogang settlement and the historical and cultural materials passed down by our ancestors. Let us travel through time and space and experience the life on the ocean from ancient times to the present. 🔆Outdoor display area: This area retains the nostalgic human touch of the old house. After the Hongmaogang village was relocated, only a corner of the Hongmaogang Cultural Park was left. Through image curation, we recreated the virtual reality of our past life in the Hongmaogang settlement. 🔆Skywalk: The Skywalk that spans across the Hongmaogang Cultural Park was formerly the coal conveyor belt of the Taipower Dalin Thermal Power Plant.
