Spring and Autumn Pavilion

#JanuaryGoodPlaces2025 The Spring and Autumn Pavilions are located in the Lotus Pond in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. They were built in 1953 to commemorate the Martial Saint Guan Gong. They are two Chinese palace-style buildings, namely the Spring Pavilion and the Autumn Pavilion. Wuliting is located in the center of Lotus Pond in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung City. The name was inspired by Li Shangyin’s poem “Five miles without fog”, symbolizing a hazy state. The pavilion is elegantly designed with bright colors.
