It was not easy to get through Japan this year, which made this trip possible🙏 The hotel design perfectly combines modernity with Japanese style, using a large number of wood elements and bold colors, making people feel the impact of the interweaving of simple Japanese style and trendy colors. The whole hotel is like a work of art. 😍😍😍When you go there, you will want to take photos no matter day or night. The 20 photo slots that trip.com gave me are definitely not enough. 😅 The hotel has three free shuttle buses to and from Karuizawa Station in the morning and afternoon. The three buses in the morning depart from the hotel, and the three buses in the afternoon return to the hotel from the station. The timetable can be found on the hotel's official website. The check-in part of the hotel is to sit and wait for the waiter to come to handle the formalities. There is a small welcome drink for you to enjoy. The waiters are friendly and attentive, and every waiter who passes by will take the initiative to say hello. 🫰🫰 The room size is standard for five-star hotels. My room is a river view king bed with a landscape bathroom and a terrace. The view is very pleasant and the bath is very comfortable. You can use the small lights and Bose speakers they provide in the room to enjoy the bathroom, which is very romantic. The price of this room type is around HKD2000 on weekdays and more expensive on weekends. The basic room type only costs more than HKD1000. It is recommended to go on weekdays as there won't be too many people. There is only one restaurant, so make sure to book early. I didn't make a reservation and had room service. The hotel price is not cheap, and there is only one barbecue restaurant nearby besides the hotel’s own restaurant. If you just want to experience the accommodation or want to save some money, we recommend that you buy the food you want at a convenience store before getting on the train. On the first morning, I tried their Japanese breakfast, which was in the form of room service and cost more than 4,000 yen. I feel it is still worth it. It is first-class for checking in. The food is rich and the ingredients are fresh. The standard is also very high. I sincerely recommend it. I don’t know what their Western breakfast will be like. The price is the same. You can try it and post it for everyone to appreciate. The night view of the hotel is particularly beautiful at night. It is recommended to go out for taking pictures. It is very convenient to take pictures when there are not many people. 🤭🤭But you can’t take photos in the big bath. The equipment in the gym is very stylish and you can clock in. They also have a spa, but I didn't have a chance to try it. You can try it. All in all, Karuizawa Indigo would be my highest rated hotel this year, the only drawback is that the restaurant options are too limited.
