Kuon Chocolate works with welfare organizations to provide employment support for people with disabilities, with the aim of creating a place where everyone can work with pride. Cambrian Palace introduced the store as a socially responsible chocolate specialty store. I was intrigued by the program and decided to visit. Their signature product, "QUON Terrine," was lined up right when I entered the store. It is a thick chocolate bar topped with colorful Japanese ingredients, dried fruits, nuts, and more. Its beautiful appearance makes you want to take a photo. When I was having trouble deciding which flavor to buy, a store clerk came over to give me some advice. Looking around the store, I noticed that one of the things that differentiates them from other chocolate specialty stores is the wide variety of original flavors that combine "Japanese" ingredients such as matcha, roasted green tea, yuzu, and sansho pepper. There are also several items that are perfect for eating on the go, and I bought an iced chocolat chaud.
