Kawasaki Nikko Hotel "Night Flight"

We went to the restaurant "Yaikou" in the Kawasaki Nikko Hotel. Sweets buffet - sweet potato & chestnut - 5,300 yen for adults (tax and service charge included) I went there looking for my favorite chestnut sweets, but it seemed to be mainly sweet potato 😊 My favorites are the following 4 items. ▫️ Chestnut pudding → You can eat this soft pudding like you're drinking it. ▫️ Baked cheese with sweet potato → The balance of sweetness and saltiness is perfect. It's rich, but not too sweet, so it's not heavy. The bottom is full of sesame seeds and is fragrant 😋 ▫️ Sweet potato, chestnut, and red bean → Sweet red beans with fresh cream, sweet potato, and chestnut simmered in syrup. You can't go wrong. ▫️ Sweet potato → Not too smooth, soft sweet potato. Naturally sweet cubes of sweet potato are plentiful. The chestnut tart has a nice crispy crust on the bottom. (The chestnut taste is... 🤔) The deli rouge (apart from the taste, as it's a berry flavor I'm not a fan of) has a fun texture that feels like layers of dacquoise. #0yentravel
