A bowl of Yuki Bakut Teh, a healthy meal in hot Kota Kinabalu

So when I searched for #Bak Kut Teh restaurants in Kota Kinabalu while preparing for my trip, I went to #YukeeBakKutTeh (#佑记肉骨茶), which was the most popular. A store that looked like Southeast Asia at first glance was full of people... I felt good because it had a proper local atmosphere. Anyway, I ordered from the menu, and the visuals were very similar to Korean galbitang. The only difference was that the ingredients were intestines instead of meat, and the soup was much darker. I tasted it, and it had a bitter taste similar to herbal medicine. It's definitely a matter of taste, but it was pretty good when eaten with salty rapeseed greens.
