Kota Kinabalu Travel Guide: A Must-Read!

It's super convenient to get around. The room looks a bit old, but it's clean and comfortable. Day 1: I went to Sin Kee Bah Kut Teh for lunch. The taste was average, but it's worth trying the local specialty. In the afternoon, I took a taxi to the University of Sabah. I was amazed by the pink buildings. You can take photos from any angle and get a lot of likes on social media. Then I went to the City Mosque. It costs 5 RM to visit the outside and 10 RM to visit the inside. There are many rules here. You have to wear a robe, and you can't dance in the hall or enter the prayer hall. The scenery inside is not very impressive, so I suggest you take photos outside. You'll still get some great shots. In the evening, I went to the Durian Night Market. The mangosteen was so cheap that I couldn't resist buying a big bag. I was so satisfied. Day 2: I checked out in the morning and checked in at the Magellan Sutera Resort in the afternoon. It was worth it! The free snorkeling was so much fun, and there were several swimming pools to enjoy. The restaurant next to the spa is a must-try. It's cheap and delicious. The chicken rice is especially good for Chinese people. In the evening, I took a taxi to Tanjung Aru Beach to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, the sunset wasn't as beautiful as I expected. Maybe I'm used to the beautiful sunsets in Xiamen, so I'm a bit picky. But there are many food stalls on the beach, so you can enjoy the food and the view. It's a great way to end the day.
