KEDAI, a Hidden Artisanal Marketplace

There's no shortage of big malls in Kuala Lumpur, but there are only a few shopping spots that are open on campus. This one opened next to the University of Malaya and is an excellent spot for couples or bffs! "Kedai" means “store” in Malay. KEDAI is small, with only two or three floors. It is a collection of various entrepreneurs and each store is full of personality. Although small, it has a wide range of businesses, including local designer clothing, second-hand stores, barber stores, beauty and nail salons, coffee classes, perfumery, various types of desserts, coffee shops, and ice cream parlors.
