From Textbook to Reality: Capturing the Grandeur of Sultan Abdul Samad Building

#kualalumpurtrip #100waysoftravel #building The Sultan Abdul Samad Building has always featured prominently in our history textbooks, known as one of Malaysia’s most iconic landmarks. Built in 1897 during the British colonial era, it originally served as the government offices for the British administration. We decided to visit it in person to witness its grandeur. Seeing it up close was truly impressive; the building's stunning Moorish-inspired architecture, with its striking clock tower and copper domes, made it a perfect spot for photography. Standing before this historic structure, we felt a deep connection to Malaysia’s rich colonial past. 🪧Take the LRT Kelana Jaya Line and get off at Masjid Jamek station. From the station, it’s just a short 5-minute walk to the building. Simply head towards Jalan Raja, and you'll see the iconic structure right across the road. The building's central location makes it easily accessible and a convenient stop for anyone exploring Kuala Lumpur’s historic sites.
