A short but impactful Kuala Lumpur landmark tour

#May Travel Support Fund Traveling via Kuala Lumpur Even though it was a short layover in Kuala Lumpur, I was able to get a clear impression of the city with just two key attractions. Although I was short on time, the route was simple and easy to get around, so I was satisfied with the short trip. The first place I visited was Merdeka Square (Dataran Merdeka), a historical symbol of Kuala Lumpur. The buildings that give off a British colonial vibe, especially the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, are eye-catching with their unique Moorish architectural beauty. The square itself was spacious and quiet, so it was good to take a walk around, and there were many Malaysian flags and related monuments around, so I was able to get a glimpse of the city's history and identity in a short time. The next place I went to was the Petronas Twin Towers. When I actually saw them, their overwhelming height and grandeur were completely different from what I saw in the photos. The glass and steel exterior sparkled in the light, and it was impressive during the day, but it was even more spectacular at night when the lights came on. Especially, appreciating the night view with the fountain left a strong impression even in a very short time. I could feel that Kuala Lumpur is a city that is attractive enough with just two places, to the point that I regret the short transit time. Next time, I thought I would like to take more time and slowly look around the various foods, Islamic temples, and market streets.
