Revisiting Gulangyu Island

I visited Gulangyu Island six years ago, and now I'm back. Gulangyu Island is known as the "Garden on the Sea." If you come to Xiamen without visiting Gulangyu Island, it's like you haven't been here at all. Gulangyu Island is warm and humid all year round, with no severe cold in winter and no extreme heat in summer. The main attractions include Sunlight Rock, Shuzhuang Garden, and Haoyue Garden. Gulangyu Island has preserved more than a thousand buildings of various styles, retained its musical culture, and built the "first in China, world-class" Piano Museum and the "only in China, largest in the world" Organ Museum, earning it the reputation of "Piano Island" and "Music Town." I booked the ferry ticket in advance on my phone and scanned the code to board the ferry. It takes about 20 minutes from Dongdu Ferry Terminal to Neicuo'ao Wharf. The ferry tickets are priced at CNY 35 and CNY 80. The electric car on the island costs CNY 50 per ticket and can take you around the island. The island is very peaceful and comfortable, a great place to relax.
