Kunming Suburban Park is located next to Yu'an Mountain in Kunming, adjacent to Qiongzhu Temple, and is a leisure forest park. The park's greatest advantage is its beautiful mountains and clear waters. Every March, when spring arrives, the hills are covered with blooming camellias, pear blossoms, wild cherry blossoms, apricot blossoms, and numerous other flowers and plants, both herbaceous and woody, bursting into bloom, presenting a picturesque spring scene to all who visit. Especially during the height of summer each year, the park hosts a hydrangea flower exhibition, which has now reached its eighth year. The blooming hydrangeas attract many tourists. The park is open to the public for free. To get there, you can take a bus to Tuanjie Township or take a taxi, or you can hike along the path from Heilinpu.
