Kunming Small Train Station.. Mayuan Station.

Mayuan Station (麻园站) is named after the former small village of Mayuan (麻园). This village was located in the northwest of Kunming and was historically known for its extensive hemp cultivation. The current Mayuan Station is situated in Fengning Street, Wuhua District, Kunming, at Migui Alley, and has quite a spacious parking area around it. At present, there is a rusted **Type 131 No. 436 steam locomotive** from the 1930s, produced in Japan, standing still at Mayuan Station, preserving the traces of time. This locomotive, bearing the weight of many years, is a historical monument in itself. Nowadays, Mayuan Station is undergoing renovations to become a new tourist attraction. Soon to be another popular travel destination in Kunming, this place will offer travelers a unique experience with its blend of history and culture.
