This city walk route is a great way to explore Kunming

- I've been to Kunming many times, but it's always been a stopover, so I never really got to know the city. This time, I spent less than 24 hours in Kunming, and spent half a day at Green Lake Park. They say Green Lake is the eye of Kunming, and these streets are a great way to get to know the city. 🚶Suggested route: Half-day: Huanggong East Street ➡️ Green Lake Park ➡️ Wenlin Street ➡️ Wenhua Lane Full-day: Kunming Old Street ➡️ Duiyue Building ➡️ Huanggong East Street ➡️ Green Lake Park ➡️ Yunnan Military Academy ➡️ Wenlin Street ➡️ Wenhua Lane ♦️Green Lake Park In winter, the seagulls only come out in the warm afternoon. The park is nice, and if there are seagulls, you can buy some food to feed them. ♦️Huanggong East Street Located at the back gate of Green Lake Park, this street has many photo spots, including red walls, street signs, Kunming platforms, graffiti walls, and more. ♦️Kunming Old Street A very representative old street, with the "Oriental Bookstore" worth a visit. ♦️Duiyue Building A legendary paper building, similar to the Wukang Building in Shanghai and the Bagon House in Wuhan. ♦️Wenlin Street & Wenhua Lane Kunming's cultural district, with many small shops to explore, such as bookstores, cafes, and souvenir shops. ☕️: Shangshan Tea is a local tea shop in Kunming, with a branch at the entrance of Green Lake Park. The Dianhong Latte and White Magnolia Latte are both good, but I prefer the White Magnolia Latte, which has a fresher taste. 🥣: For lunch, try Jingchen Garden, which has many rice noodles, Ersi, and more, with bone soup. Don't miss it! For dinner, try Lincang Wa Cuisine, a Yunnan restaurant recommended by locals, not far from the city walk route. The signature dishes are heavy, with a strong sour and spicy flavor. The Green Lake area is only suitable for a half-day or full-day tour. If you have more time, you can visit more places with local Kunming characteristics. I believe Kunming, with its spring-like climate, will surprise you.
