Hokkaido Hot Spring Hotel Niseko Zaborin Exclusive Snow View

Hide in the forest and forget the hustle and bustle of the world Zaborin is hidden in the primeval forest of Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan. This secluded Japanese-style inn is designed with "Zen meditation" in mind, creating a natural environment for guests to return to. The hotel covers an area of 40,000 square meters and has only 15 rooms with a surrounding layout. Each room has a private forest view and an open-air hot spring pool, where you can relax in the embrace of nature. The hotel was designed by Makoto Nakayama, a well-known Hokkaido architect. The building blends in with the surrounding forest, embodying a combination of modern and Japanese styles. If you want to find tranquility in nature and forget about worldly matters, Zaborin will provide you with a rare secluded experience. Here you can cleanse your noisy mind and return to your inner self.

Shiretoko Peninsula

We're in Hokkaido for 15 days on a self driving trip. We visited key areas like Sapporo, Otaru, Kushiro, shari, Utoro, Asahikawa, Furano and Biei. Generally it was a place to relax and immerse yourself into nature. Well known places like Sapporo and Hakodate typically come to mind when talking about Hokkaido, but I would recommend the Shiretoko Peninsula and Asahikawa. For nature lovers. Shiretoko offers breathtaking views of mountains, lakes and seas. At Asahikawa. one can get the convenience of staying in a city and still be able to cover places like Biei and Furano, where there are beautiful views of flower orchards and paddy fields (where sunset view is quite stunning). One place which seldom gets recommendations (or it does? i could be wrong...) is Daisetsuzan National Park. When the weather is good and the sky is clear, take the skyway to the top and the view will make your trip worthwhile. I was up there in early June summer, there's still snow on which the children enjoy playing, as well as trails with running waters due to the melting snow. Nice experience. The zoo at Asahikawa is quite enjoyable too.
