All-you-can-eat for four hours

Hong Kongers are known for their love of good food, and hotpot is a year-round favorite. I'm no exception, and today I enjoyed a lunch buffet at this hotpot restaurant, which offers several set menu options. I chose the No. 2 U.S. Premium Shoulder Meat Set, priced at just over a hundred HKD per adult—a great deal. The highlight is the four-hour dining limit, giving you plenty of time to savor the meal. I paired it with a flavorful tomato pork bone broth and a peppery pork stomach broth in a dual hotpot setup, both of which were rich and delicious. The beef shoulder rib slices, beef shoulder slices, lamb slices, and pork loin were all tender and fresh. The ox tongue was delightfully crisp, and the beef tendon was soft, bouncy, and collagen-rich. The Taipei-style duck blood was silky smooth, while the grass carp slices were thick, boneless, and free of any fishy smell—extremely fresh. For fried items, the molten glutinous rice cakes were crispy, fragrant, and sweet, while the crispy pork bites were crunchy and flavorful. The self-service area offered a variety of vegetables and meatballs. The cooked food and snack section included fried fish skin, crispy wontons, crayfish, braised pork rice, and shark fin soup. There were also various sodas, alcoholic beverages, and homemade health teas, along with a selection of ice creams and popsicles to cool off and quench your thirst.
