[Kyoto] The moss-filled temple, Saihoji

Do you know the moss temple in Kyoto that only people who apply in advance can enter? This time, I will introduce the moss temple, Saihoji Temple. Saihoji Temple has a pre-application system to preserve the original environment of the temple. There are two ways to apply in advance: by postcard or online, but I applied by postcard because it was faster. On the day, I went by rental car. There was a large Times parking lot right in front of me. There are also buses from the city, but if you consider the risk of the parking lot being full, it might be better to take the bus. We were able to enter the moss temple at the reserved time, and first we all copied sutras, and then we were able to take turns to tour the garden after we finished. Copying sutras is something you don't often get to do, so it was a good experience.
