Kurama Mountain, the hometown of Osaka-Kyoto Tengu

Kibune and Kurama are just one stop away from the station. This time I chose to climb Mt. Kurama directly to Kurama Station after eating Kibune Ryushu. (If you are not physically fit, I suggest you climb from Mt. Kurama to Kibune first, which will reduce the uphill climb!) You can use hiking poles for free when entering the mountain. Remember to take them. It will be much easier. Once you arrive at Kurama Station, be sure to take a picture of the Tengu statue! Kurama is known as the hometown of Tengu. By the way, our original plan was to go to Kurama Onsen to soak in the hot springs after climbing the mountain, but the shop owner told me that Kurama Onsen has been closed, which is a pity. Please don’t go to the hot springs in vain!
