📍 Location: Kiyomizu-dera (1 Chome-294 Kiyomizu, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, 605-0862, Japan) ⏰ Operating hours: Daily operating hours 06:00 ~ 18:00 (July, August ~ 18:30) 💴Admission fee: Adults, high school students: 400 yen Elementary and middle school students: 200 yen 🚶: 9 minutes by bus from Shijo Kawaramachi Station, 11 minutes on foot - Kiyomizu-dera (Kiyomizu Temple) is recommended as the number one place to visit in Kyoto! - It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Kyoto that you must visit at least once if you visit Kyoto! Especially, the autumn leaves are beautiful from late November to early December, so you can enjoy the autumn leaves as a bonus!🍁 - Kiyomizu-dera is located at the highest point of the hill, so I recommend wearing comfortable shoes because you have to walk all the way to the end! There are many restaurants, cafes, and shops on both sides of the hill, so it's fun to stop by while going up!🍡 - ​​We rented kimonos and went up, and I thought the shoes would be uncomfortable, but the path up was not as rough as I thought, so it was okay! We took a break at a cafe in between, so we arrived quickly!👘 - There were so many people on the day we went that we didn't go inside Kiyomizu-dera! If you want to go in, pay the entrance fee and follow the instructions! We were satisfied with the autumn leaves in front of the entrance and the tour of Kiyomizu-dera's exterior!
