“Issunboshi”, a Japanese-style ramen restaurant with no tourists near Kiyomizu-dera, Kyoto🍜

📍 Location: Japanese Noodle 一寸法師 (4 Chome-148-6 Kiyomizu, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto 605-0862, Japan) ⏱️Opening hours: 11:00 AM - 6:30 PM daily 💴Price range: 800 - 3,000 yen 🚶♀️3-minute walk from Kiyomizu-michi Station -I'll introduce you to "Issun Boshi," a ramen restaurant located near Kiyomizu-dera and Ninenzaka! 🍜 -It's a great place to visit for lunch! It's not frequented by many tourists, and its cute interior is its special feature! When we visited, there were only Japanese people, and it was a very cozy and quiet place that I liked!💓 -You can pay at the vending machine as soon as you enter! At first, I was confused because it was only written in Japanese, but there were Korean menus on the side, so I was able to order easily! - I ordered the famous salt ramen, and it was the most delicious Japanese ramen I've ever had! In particular, the noodles were really chewy, so I was surprised as soon as I took a bite! 🍜 - What was unique was that the meat wasn't dipped in it, but was served in a bowl so that you could dip it yourself! It was unique and fun, and I was able to take pretty pictures for Instagram :) - It was a restaurant where you sit around the kitchen, so I think that's why it felt more Japanese! The inside of the restaurant was really clean, and the two employees who ran it were kind and provided clean service! - I recommend this place to those who are looking for a ramen restaurant without tourists when visiting Kyoto!
