Early cherry-blossom on a rainy-cold day

#cherryblossom2024 #japan #kyoto We believed the forecast, that this year the cherry blossoming will come early, so we booked our trip to Japan for the last week of Japan. Despite the forecast, the weather cooled down, and it rained most of our time, and 99% of this magical trees haven't started blooming. Luckily there are some places with early blooming species, so we could get some of the sakura-feeling. I recommend those mid-late March sakura-seeker to visit the Kawazu-Zakura Cherry Trees in Yodo, Kyoto [淀の河津桜]. Very nice experience, even on a rainy day!
