Location: Kyoto Aquarium Address: 35-1 Kankijicho, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, inside Umekoji Park Access: 15-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station It is recommended to visit other tourist spots first and then choose to go to the aquarium last, as it is within walking distance from Kyoto Station. The aquarium was open until 6 PM, but I was able to see everything even after entering past 4 PM. There are many famous creatures such as garden eels and penguins, and in the large tanks, various fish swim around, creating a fantastical atmosphere. There are also many other creatures, so you can take your time and look around at your own pace.
