Kiyomizu-dera (Clear Water Temple), a World Heritage Site in Kyoto

Kiyomizu-dera Temple, a temple registered as a World Heritage Site or what Thai people like to call "Clear Water Temple", is a temple that is a destination for many people who intend to visit Kyoto. Today, we will take you to visit Clear Water Temple, which is more than just praying for blessings. 🫖 Starting from the path up to Kiyomizu-dera Temple or "Teapot Street", which in Japanese is called "Go-Jozaka" because there are cute pottery shops lined up along both sides. And this road is full of souvenir shops and famous Kyoto sweets all the way to the temple. Some shops will even let you try them for free. 🧁 Must-try sweets include Cream Puff from Yatsuhashi and triangular mochi, which is a unique characteristic of Kyoto. ⛩️ When you get to the entrance, buy a ticket to enter the temple for adults for 400 yen. When you walk in, you will see the entrance gate and the three-story pagoda called the Nio-mon Gate. ⛩️ Then walk to the main hall of the temple and you will find a staff. Let's pray for what we want and then lift the staff. If we can lift it, it means that it will come true (women should lift the small staff, men should lift the big one). 🙏🏻 Then go to worship and ask for blessings from the Bodhisattva Guanyin with 11 faces and 1000 arms, which is the principal Buddha image of the temple, and the god Ebisu, the god of wealth and prosperity. ⛩️Walk to see Hondo (Hondo), the main building of Nam Sai Temple. The building is 13 meters high and built using the ancient method called Kakezukuri, which is a construction using a wooden structure with mortise locks without nails.
