Kyoto, Japan - Photographers' favorite lighted stone steps: Kifune Shrine

#Kifune-jinja Shrine is across the mountain from #Kurama-dera Temple. Take the Eizan Railway and get off at Kibune-guchi. If you don't get off, you will reach Kurama-dera Temple. From Kibune-guchi, you can choose to walk for 30 minutes or take a bus for 10 minutes. The Kifune Shrine is not big. The main thing is that there are rows of Japanese vermilion lights on both sides of the stairs going up. They are very beautiful when photographed (there are also some in Kurama Temple), and there is also a very special water divination. Along the river, there are rows of riverbed mats for cooling off. It is quite pleasant to eat lunch while listening to the sound of flowing water. Kifune Shrine and Kurama-dera Temple are both famous places for viewing autumn leaves in the northern part of Kyoto. In the summer, they are covered with fresh green.
