🇯🇵 Kyoto's river view sunset check-in spot 🌄🌳

When I came to Kyoto, I wanted to watch the sunset in a leisurely way. There is a river here where Kyoto people would sit on the stone roads on both sides. The river is actually very long, flowing from Sanjo to Jiujo! This viewing spot is at Kujo! There are also beautiful cobblestone streets along the way from the station, with willow trees and red leaves hanging on both sides, and there are benches to sit on! You can also choose to watch the river from a higher position, or walk down the stairs to the riverside and sit down🥰 However, because the place to sit is not grass but stone, it is not so comfortable, and you may need to bring your own placemat.
