Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine⛩️ is a shrine located in Fushimi District, Kyoto City, Japan. There is a long corridor leading to the 233-meter-high Inari Mountain. Along the way, there are many stone altars and about 10,000 torii gates, which is a spectacular sight. There are no words on the Thousand Torii Gate when viewed from the front, but on the back, it is written how much donations were made to the shrine by different individuals or companies, as well as the year in which the torii gate was built. Since ancient times, people who made wishes have donated money to erect a torii gate within the shrine to express their respect for the gods.
