This time, I enjoyed the area around Kyocera Museum of Art, Kyoto! ✅Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art ✅124 Okazaki Enshoji-cho, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture →About an 8-minute walk from Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Subway Line Originally the Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art, it was extensively renovated by architects Jun Aoki and Tetsuo Nishizawa, and opened in March 2020 The unique feature of this museum is that the front entrance is dug down to a semi-basement level! It's hard to tell from the front in the photo, but when you look at it from the side, it's a slope, and it's a spacious and luxurious space. The large torii gate of Heian Shrine is right in front of you, so it's a great photo spot!
