A Hidden Cherry Blossom Spot in Kyoto That 90% of Visitors Don’t Know About!

#cherryblossom25 Location: Ichijō Modori-bashi, in front of Seimei Shrine Kyoto City, Kamigyo Ward, Horikawa Uenochō Nestled between Nijō Castle and the Kyoto Imperial Palace is a little-known cherry blossom viewing spot. Not only is there a grove of Kawazu cherry trees, but there’s also a massive Kawazu cherry tree by Ichijō Modori-bashi, which is also a famous “Detective Conan pilgrimage spot”! Getting There: Search for "Ichijō Modori-bashi / In front of Seimei Shrine" on maps. You can take bus lines 9, 12, or 67 and get off at "Ichijō Modori-bashi / Seimei Shrine Mae." Alternatively, take bus 59 and get off at "Horikawa Imadegawa," then walk for about 5 minutes. Photography Tips: You can go under the bridge and shoot upwards. Or have a friend go under the bridge while you take photos from above (like in image 4).
