#cherryblossom25 Spring in Tokyo always gives you reasons to pause and appreciate the moment, and Shioiri Park is one of those places. Unlike the bustling Ueno Park, Shioiri Park has a more laid-back, relaxed atmosphere. The park stretches along the Sumida River, offering large, soft grassy areas where the breeze gently flows, and cherry trees sway with the wind. Small groups of people sit under the trees, some spreading picnic blankets and enjoying bento boxes, while others lean against the tree trunks, reading or simply daydreaming. Here, a picnic feels like the most leisurely activity you can do. Sakura Spot: Shioiri Park Getting There: A 12-minute walk from JR Joban Line/ Hibiya Line Minami-Senju Station. I found my food cooling down too quickly, and when I went to drink my morning tea, it had turned lukewarm.
