Fushimi Inari Taisha is a famous Shinto shrine located in southern Kyoto, Japan. It is dedicated to Inari, the god of rice, agriculture, and business. The shrine is best known for its thousands of vibrant red torii gates that create scenic trails through the wooded slopes of Mount Inari. These gates are donated by individuals and companies seeking blessings. The main shrine was built in 711 AD, and the site has become one of Kyoto’s most visited landmarks. Along the path, you’ll find smaller shrines, fox statues, and peaceful viewpoints. Fushimi Inari offers a spiritual and cultural experience unlike any other.
