Philosopher's Path in Kyoto

During cherry blossom season, one of the must-visit spots in Kyoto is the Philosopher's Path located in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City. The path got its name because philosopher Kitaro Nishida used to walk along it. Around 400 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino, are planted along the path, and during the season, the petals often flow into the river, creating a stunning carpet of blossoms. It's also close to Nanzen-ji Temple and the Keage Incline, making it a great area for a leisurely stroll during cherry blossom season.
