It is a little far from downtown Dalat, but it takes about 30 minutes by taxi or motorcycle tour. When you reach the top, you will see endless green hills, flower fields, and a quiet view. There are not many people, so it is good for a quiet walk or taking pictures. From the top of La Viang, you can overlook the entire city of Dalat, and there is a store selling simple snacks and coffee, so you can enjoy it leisurely. For lunch, we had a simple meal of Banh Xeo and Dalat rice noodles at a nearby local restaurant. I was able to feel the real atmosphere of Dalat while eating at a restaurant crowded with locals. At 2 pm, the next course is COVID-19 Park. Despite its unique name, it is actually a theme park created to remember the COVID era, and various installation art and exhibits make you look back on the pandemic and human life. There are also many photogenic sculptures, so it is secretly known as an Instagram-worthy spot among young travelers. Inside the park, there are walking paths and rest areas where you can walk along various paths, so you can walk slowly, rest, and reflect. It felt like it made you look back on your daily life and nature, which have become more precious after COVID. In the evening, we returned to the city and finished the day at the Dalat Night Market. We organized our schedule for the day with simple night snacks such as skewers, glutinous rice, and warm soy milk.
