[Climbing Fitz Roy | A challenge to a spectacular view greeted by glacial jewels and spires] — An 8-10 hour hike through the wilderness to one of the world's most spectacular views, Laguna de los Tres, and the peak of Fitz Roy — A one-day hike starting and ending in El Chalten, with a total length of about 21 km, an elevation difference of about 800 m, and a duration of 8-10 hours. Alternatively, a 2-day plan with a camping stop is also popular. The beginning is a gentle climb → forest and grassland → Laguna Capri, and the final 1 km/400 m steep rocky climb to the core. Near the top, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Fitz Roy towering over the deep blue Laguna de los Tres. ⸻ 📍【Starting point】 The end of San Martin Street in El Chalten (Laguna de los Tres trailhead)  🕰【Best time】 The best conditions are in the summer months of November to March. It is prone to clouds, so leave early in the morning, around 5am, to enjoy a quiet and less cloudy view. ⸻ ✨【Recommended points】 • The clear blue lake and the impressive figure of Fitz Roy that spread out beyond the steep climb are impressive. • The view at Laguna Capri, a famous spot on a par with Fitz Roy, is also wonderful. • It is OK for a day trip or overnight stay. An overnight camp in Laguna, enveloped in the light of the magic hour, is especially fantastic. 🎒【Tips】 Start early in the morning to avoid crowds and clouds. Prepare hiking poles and non-slip shoes for the final steep climb.
