After two visits to Langzhong, I have stayed in old houses within the ancient city. This time, I checked into the Kong Family Mansion, which is also an ancient house with a history of more than four hundred years. According to records, it was initially built by the descendants of Confucius during the Ming Dynasty, and it has been continuously expanded and repaired over the years. The area has been enlarged, and at one point, it served as the residence for officials in Northern Sichuan. The B&B has maintained the original architectural style of the ancient building, and the elements related to Confucius inside are also well represented. The overall experience of staying here was quite good. The housekeeper service was meticulous, and the room environment was also quite nice.
