The tranquility of the desert and the illusion of the city

On the endless desert road, we drove in silence. The sun was scorching, the wind was dry, and the sky was unbelievably blue. The Grand Canyon was truly overwhelming. Its unfathomable depth and red walls layered with millions of years. The moments of silence were the moments I felt the most. At Antelope Canyon, it felt as if time had stopped. At Horseshoe Bend, my heart raced even in the stillness. Bryce Canyon approached gently, and at Monument Valley, it felt as if time was flowing backward. And then, we arrived back in Las Vegas. It was a completely different world. Lights, music, and the energy of people. The extravagance felt exaggerated, but strangely, it was comforting. The city painted colors over the emotions emptied in the desert.
